“Protection reduced”

• Another VPN app is on: turn it off; Android allows one VPN at a time.
• Private DNS is set to a named provider: in Settings, set Private DNS to Automatic or Off.
• Open 316 Shield and tap Run a protection checkup.

Battery savers

Some phones’ battery savers delay checks or stop app blocking. Open Settings → Battery optimization, choose All apps, find 316 Shield and pick Don’t optimize.

Work profile, dual apps or Private Space

These are separate spaces. Install 316 Shield inside them too to protect them.

New or lost phone

There’s no account, so set 316 Shield up again from Google Play on the new phone. Settings stay on the old phone.

Delete your data

In the app, use “Delete my data from this phone”, or uninstall. Nothing is held on a server. More.
